I am a PhD Candidate in Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University. My research interests lie at the intersection of agricultural economics, economic development, and labor economics. The goal behind my work is to translate research findings into evidence-based policymaking for the benefit of rural livelihoods in both high- and low-income settings. I primarily use causal inference methods, drawing on data from primary surveys, remotely sensed data products, and secondary sources.
During my PhD, I have worked as a short-term consultant with the Agriculture and Food Practice of the World Bank. Prior to graduate school, I served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal from 2017-19. I have an M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University (2023) and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University (2017).
